Engagement Manager – Medical Strategy & Real‑World Evidence

About the role

Prescient is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead strategic medical affairs projects across its Medical practice. The role combines deep expertise in real‑world evidence, health economics and outcomes research with medical affairs insight to help biopharma clients make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end client engagements covering medical strategy, evidence generation and organizational excellence.
• Define project scope, direct research and analysis, and ensure delivery of high‑quality strategic outputs.
• Design and guide RWE studies, literature reviews, and epidemiology models to support medical planning and launch readiness.
• Develop deliverables such as medical plans, evidence roadmaps, operating models and client workshops.
• Collaborate with U.S. pharmaceutical and biotech clients while maintaining a global perspective on medical strategy.

Required profile

• Strong background in real‑world evidence, health economics & outcomes research, or epidemiology modelling.
• Experience working with medical affairs teams in the biopharma industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex consulting projects and drive business growth.
