Enabling Technologies Technical Lead

About the role

Enovis is seeking an experienced Enabling Technologies Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative orthopedic solutions. You will lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through commercialization, ensuring high‑quality, compliant medical device mechatronic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across product development programs, covering software, algorithms, electronics, mechanical systems, instrumentation, and visualization technologies.
• Define and maintain system architecture, integrating hardware, software, sensors, optics, and enabling technologies.
• Lead technical design reviews for system architecture, embedded software, algorithms, electronics, and mechanical components.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Program Management.
• Mentor engineering teams, guide development activities, and ensure scalable, high‑quality solutions.

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects in medical device or related high‑tech fields.
• Strong ability to influence technical decisions across cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver who enjoys tackling complex engineering challenges.
