EMT Technician

About the role

Legends Global, a live events and venues partner, is hiring an EMT Technician in Laredo, Texas, reporting to the Director of Operations. The role provides emergency medical care within the limits of certification and supports event operations at the Sames Auto Arena.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service to guests, visitors, vendors and colleagues.
• Provide emergency medical care within the limits of certification and complete thorough documentation of all medical skills.
• Disinfect and maintain the cleanliness of EMS equipment, supplies and treatment areas.
• Assist in coordinating emergency situations.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying management of concerns when necessary.
• Maintain good communication and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and staff, and show professional conduct and integrity.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of appropriate medical service experience preferred.
• Must obtain Medical Response Technician certification through the appropriate agency.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, solve problems, organize and communicate verbally under pressure.
