Employee Health & Benefits Intern

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring an Employee Health & Benefits Intern on its EH&B team. The internship gives real-world business, risk management and insurance experience, focusing on the tools needed for Client Management or Sales career pathways. It is paid at an applicable hourly rate of $20.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble meeting preparation materials
• Peer review carrier and client deliverables
• Support the client service team and project management
• Help prepare enrollment materials
• Attend industry education sessions and intern challenges
• Shadow client meetings

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in Communication, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or a related field
• Detailed and organized, with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work on a team as well as individually
• Professional conduct and the ability to build positive working relationships with management, employees and peers
• A plus: legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently and without sponsorship

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (required)
• A plus: ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
