Embedded Software Engineer (All Levels)

About the role

As an Embedded Software Engineer you will create, develop, and test software that drives and simulates flight systems. You will work closely with client engineers across software and hardware domains to ensure mission‑critical applications succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable autonomous software systems and the simulations needed to validate them.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from design and prototyping to integration and deployment.
• Evaluate test outcomes, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and develop testing tools for virtual, hardware‑in‑the‑loop, and vehicle‑in‑the‑loop environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on next‑generation hypersonic missile capabilities and advanced guidance algorithms.
• Lead major projects, travel to launch and customer sites as needed, and continuously improve software standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Open to candidates of all experience levels, from early‑career engineers to senior contributors.
• Hands‑on experience with systems programming in C++, Python, or Rust and familiarity with Linux‑based development environments.
