About the role
RE-1 Valley School District is seeking a dedicated elementary teacher for 3rd‑5th grades for the 2026/2027 school year. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction aligned to Colorado Academic Standards while supporting students’ academic and social‑emotional growth.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver standards‑based instruction in core subjects.
- Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and differentiate learning.
- Implement research‑based literacy and math practices.
- Integrate technology appropriately into lessons.
- Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment and reinforce expectations.
- Analyze student data, participate in MTSS processes, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with grade‑level teams, support staff, and families; attend IEP, 504, and MTSS meetings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (preferred).
- Current Colorado teaching license or licensure application in process (or Colorado substitute license).
- Knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards.
- Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills.
