About the role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join the Education department of All Dulles Area Muslim Society as an RHA Assistant Teacher. In this role you will help create a positive and engaging learning environment while supporting the lead teacher in daily classroom activities.
Key responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher in delivering lessons and classroom management.
- Develop a nurturing relationship with students.
- Provide organizational and teaching assistance to the lead teacher.
- Maintain the required student‑to‑teacher ratio at all times.
- Follow all requirements of the staff handbook.
- Ensure safe keeping and responsible usage of resources and supplies.
Required profile
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Previous experience working with children preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Preference given to graduates of U.S. educational institutions.
Required skills
- Proficient with computers.
- Ability to navigate online resources.
- Experience creating short videos (a plus).
