Elementary Teacher – 3rd Grade

About the role

BASIS Baton Rouge Primary Mid City Campus is hiring a 3rd‑grade Elementary Teacher for the 2026/27 school year. As a Learning Expert Teacher you will partner with Subject Expert Teachers, focusing on individualized instruction and supporting student achievement in a co‑teaching environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cohort of 3rd‑grade students through daily classroom transitions.
• Collaborate with the Subject Expert Teacher for each instructional period.
• Provide individualized or small‑group instruction using elementary teaching methods to meet differentiated student needs.
• Establish and maintain classroom behavior standards to create a functional learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education or a related field.
• Valid fingerprint clearance and/or satisfactory state background check.
• Demonstrated passion for student achievement and a commitment to raising individual outcomes.
