Elementary Library Media Technician (Part‑time)

About the role
This position supports library media services for elementary students at Lathrop School. The role is part‑time, working 5.75 hours per day, Monday‑Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. with a half‑hour lunch break. The anticipated start date is mid‑August.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or equivalent.
- Either 48 semester units, an Associate Degree, a higher degree, or successful completion of the district’s paraprofessional proficiency test.
- Desirable: experience working in schools with school‑age students or library‑related experience.
- Pre‑employment requirements (at employee cost): TB clearance and fingerprinting.
- Preference will be given to internal candidates.
