Electrical Engineering Instructor – Undergraduate Courses

About the role

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Louisiana State University seeks an Instructor to begin in August 2026. You will teach freshman‑through‑junior level courses and guide senior capstone design projects, contributing to a vibrant undergraduate program.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 12 credit hours per semester, primarily undergraduate courses in circuits, electronics, signal processing, probability, digital communications, and RF engineering.
• Mentor senior students through capstone design classes, emphasizing practical design experience.
• Participate in departmental duties as assigned by the chair (approximately 10% of workload).

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or Ph.D.) in electrical engineering or a closely related field, completed by July 2026.
• Demonstrated mastery of undergraduate material in the listed technical areas.
• Some prior teaching experience at the university level.
• Industrial experience is desirable but not mandatory.
