About the role

The EH&S Technician II will support safety and environmental programs at Clopay's Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement and coordinate safety training programs, including developing materials and tracking documentation.
  • Assist management with safety and environmental policy creation, workplace inspections, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct accident investigations, root cause analysis, and manage corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety files, OSHA records, and prepare periodic compliance reports.
  • Manage programs such as Training, PPE, STOP, Confined Space, LOTO, and Hearing Conservation.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • At least 2 years of EHS experience with knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication skills for interdepartmental coordination.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Regulatory reporting knowledge for safety and environmental compliance.
