Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our preschool team, delivering a safe, nurturing, and Reggio Emilia‑inspired learning environment for young children. The role involves planning and delivering curriculum, supporting social‑emotional growth, and collaborating with staff to uphold the school’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe indoor and outdoor learning environment and follow state regulations, school policies, and safeguarding guidelines.
• Supervise children in all settings, including classroom, playground, field trips, and transitions.
• Assist with caregiving routines such as diaper changing, bottle feeding, snacks, and meals while adhering to hygiene protocols.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Reggio Emilia‑inspired lessons aligned with Teaching Strategies Gold objectives.
• Adapt activities to meet diverse developmental needs and document learning through photos, anecdotal notes, and work samples.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and use digital platforms for communication and documentation.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school‑wide events.

Required profile

• Passion for early childhood education and commitment to children’s safety and well‑being.
• Familiarity with Reggio Emilia principles and Teaching Strategies Gold curriculum.
• Knowledge of state early‑learning regulations and safeguarding practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with assistant teachers and school leadership.
