About the role

Prep Academy Tutors seeks an enthusiastic Dyslexia Reading Intervention Tutor to provide personalized reading support to K‑12 students in San Diego, both in‑home and online.

Key responsibilities

Deliver reading intervention aligned with the state curriculum for students with dyslexia.
Create and assign supplemental materials to deepen understanding.
Offer remedial and enrichment support tailored to each learner.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress.

Required profile

Energetic and enthusiastic teachers who make learning fun.
Committed to excellent customer service and enjoy working with students and families.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to adapt to a wide range of learning styles.

Required skills

Experience with reading intervention programs such as Wilson Reading, UFLI, or Barton.
Knowledge of the California state curriculum for reading.
