Dyslexia Interventionist

About the role

The Dyslexia Interventionist works as an independent contractor with AIM to deliver research‑based dyslexia services in Texas public schools, supporting students’ literacy development and IEP goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and provide dyslexia intervention services aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Participate in assessments to help determine eligibility for dyslexia services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance literacy skills.
• Share expertise and provide training to school personnel on dyslexia identification and instruction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with Reading Specialist Certification or certification in a multi‑sensory structured language program (e.g., Wilson, Take Flight, Barton, Reading by Design, MTA).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience with demonstrated knowledge of dyslexia instruction.
