Driver Warehouse Associate

About the role

Join a fast‑paced, dynamic team supporting a leading HVAC wholesale distributor. As a Driver/Warehouse Associate you will manage inventory, load and unload freight, and deliver HVAC materials to customers and vendors across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload products daily, using a company pickup truck and forklift.
• Deliver HVAC freight and materials to customers, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and stock merchandise against purchase orders.
• Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Collect signed invoices and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift checklists, report mileage and merchandise returns.
• Operate and care for the OF device as required.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory control procedures.
• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep the warehouse and grounds clean, orderly, and safe.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months verifiable experience driving a company pickup truck.
• Ability to meet daily deadlines and multitask in a fast‑moving environment.
• Knowledge of LTL (less‑than‑truckload) and full‑truckload logistics.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to superior customer service.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least 6 months warehouse experience, including forklift operation (preferred).
