Driver / Warehouse Associate (HVAC Logistics)

About the role

Join a fast‑paced team delivering HVAC equipment and materials across the Baton Rouge area. As a Driver/Warehouse Associate you will handle both the transportation of freight and the day‑to‑day operations of a busy warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload HVAC products and materials daily.
• Deliver and transport freight to customers and vendors.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and verify merchandise against orders.
• Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Collect signed invoices and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
• Perform daily truck and forklift maintenance checks and report usage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep the warehouse clean and safe.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years recent driving experience with a 22 ft box or stake‑bed truck.
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years (no suspensions, DUI, or more than one moving violation per year).
• Must be 21 years of age or older and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to multitask, meet daily deadlines, and communicate effectively with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Box truck operation (22 ft).
• Forklift operation.
