Driver / Warehouse Associate (HVAC Freight)

About the role

Join a fast‑paced team delivering HVAC equipment and materials across the region. As a Driver/Warehouse Associate you will handle daily loading, unloading, and transportation of freight while ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload HVAC products and materials from a 16 ft box or stake‑bed truck.
• Deliver freight to customers, collect signed invoices, and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and verify merchandise against orders.
• Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift checklists, report mileage and returns.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory control.
• Provide courteous customer service and keep the warehouse orderly and safe.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months recent experience driving a 16 ft box truck or stake‑bed truck.
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years (no suspensions, DUI, or more than one moving violation per year).
• Must be 21 years or older and pass drug screening and background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Box‑truck operation (16 ft or larger).
• Forklift operation.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full‑truckload logistics.
