Domestic Logistics Customer Service Agent

About the role

Expeditors is seeking a Domestic Logistics Customer Service Agent to join its Transcon department in Hawthorne, CA. The role focuses on ensuring smooth movement of freight and information while delivering high‑quality service to domestic customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and clear communication with customers.
• Enter and maintain accurate freight data in the operating system.
• Track and trace Transcon files, using daily workflows to monitor progress.
• Maintain strong relationships with service providers and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Meet established KPI standards and follow customers’ standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate or undergraduate degree preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without future visa sponsorship.
• Pass a background check.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed and commute to Hawthorne, CA.
• Comfortable with numbers and basic mathematical calculations.
