Document Management Technician

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Document Management Technician for a facility that requires Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) clearance. The role follows well-defined procedures to handle incoming electronic media and records, and to coordinate with team members so that prioritized productions are ready for loading.

Key responsibilities

• Receive electronic media, thumb drives, CDs and similar items, log them into the ATR System, download and virus scan them, check for passwords and make an electronic copy.
• Review records for accuracy and completeness and inform case managers of issues to be pursued with staff regarding instructions provided.
• Coordinate with other team members so that prioritized productions are available for loading.

Required profile

• Ability to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) facility credentials; US citizenship is required for MRPT at this location.
• Ability to perform detailed work consistently, accurately and under pressure, and to read and follow instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, working in a team or independently following defined procedures.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with imaging systems and data processing environments, including PC-based databases and other applications.
• Preferred: certifications in computer-related college courses, basic knowledge of Relativity, and basic knowledge of staging, loading and processing electronic data.
