Dock Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Dock Supervisor to lead dock and dispatch operations at our Wilson, NC service center. This full‑time, third‑shift position ensures efficient handling of LTL loads while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage dock operations and coordinate driver/freight‑handler scheduling.
• Oversee driver and freight‑handler management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality freight‑handling procedures.
• Dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Required profile

• Proven basic leadership experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication and logistical abilities with solid problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling (preferred) and familiarity with Wilson and surrounding areas.
• Prior LTL leadership experience strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• General computer skills.
