District Manager – Operations & Sales

About the role

As a District Manager you will drive operational excellence, deliver remarkable customer experiences, and grow sales across multiple self‑storage locations. You will lead and develop high‑performing teams while executing company strategies to ensure consistent performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, motivate, and retain front‑line hourly employees, providing coaching on customer service and sales.
• Manage physical assets, oversee repair and maintenance processes, vendor relationships, and cleaning standards.
• Handle delinquent tenant processes, including auctions, to reduce delinquency rates and improve retention.
• Conduct monthly property audits, ensuring operational standards and safety compliance.
• Provide a welcoming, well‑maintained environment for customers and address inquiries promptly.
• Use analytics to identify trends, develop strategies, and drive business growth across the district.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and team members.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience building and retaining high‑performing teams of non‑exempt employees in retail, service, hospitality, or related industries.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for lateral or promotional opportunities.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple unit locations and achieving sales and operational targets.
