District Manager

About the role

Public Storage is seeking a District Manager who is passionate about operational excellence, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and driving sales across multiple locations. You will lead a team of front‑line employees, oversee property operations, and implement company strategies while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, motivate, and retain hourly front‑line staff; provide coaching on customer service and sales.
• Manage physical assets, including repair, maintenance, vendor relationships, and cleaning standards.
• Oversee delinquent tenant processes, conduct auctions, and work to reduce delinquency rates.
• Perform monthly property audits to ensure operational standards and safety compliance.
• Address customer inquiries promptly and maintain a welcoming, well‑maintained environment.
• Analyze district performance data, identify trends, and develop strategies to grow the business.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience building and retaining high‑performing teams of non‑exempt employees in retail, service, hospitality, or a related industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple locations and drive results.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for lateral or promotional opportunities.

• First‑year total compensation up to $116,000, including base salary, guaranteed quarterly bonus, and restricted stock units.
