Dispatcher – Transportation Coordination

About the role

The Dispatcher will work on‑site in the United States, coordinating rides, routes and schedules for limousine, taxi, trucking and non‑emergency medical transportation clients. You will ensure timely assignments, optimal vehicle utilisation and a smooth experience for drivers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process trip requests through the dispatch platform.
• Update dispatch systems, monitor live trips and adjust routes as needed.
• Communicate with drivers and customers to resolve issues, delays or changes.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, driver activity and vehicle usage.
• Follow client‑specific protocols and service‑level agreements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
• Identify operational challenges and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Comfortable working flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends or holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or logistics is a plus.
• Professional demeanor, reliability and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑based dispatch systems.
• Experience using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Familiarity with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
