Dishwasher

About the role

Join a fast‑paced kitchen team where you will keep the heart of the restaurant clean and efficient. As a Dishwasher/Porter you will support food preparation by ensuring all dishes, cookware and utensils are spotless and ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans and store them in the proper locations.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas using hand trucks or by hand.
• Clean garbage cans with water and bleach.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean, orderly condition.
• Support other staff members as needed, including stowing and polishing dishes and cookware.
• Monitor and maintain chemical levels and temperatures to meet safety standards.

Required profile

• Ability to execute tasks with precision and speed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capacity to lift 50 lb or more.
• Prior experience in kitchen or cleaning roles.
• Excellent time‑management and the ability to stand and move for long periods.
