About the role
We are looking for a reliable Dishwasher to join our restaurant team in New Orleans. You will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations.
Key responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual methods.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cooking equipment and dining areas.
- Store and rotate food and supplies according to safety and sanitation standards.
- Perform janitorial duties in the dining room, bistro and other service areas.
- Follow federal, state and local regulations for food handling, storage and cleaning.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in fine‑dining or casual‑dining restaurant environments.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lb, bend, climb and work in confined spaces.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational, time‑management, judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
