Dishwasher – Food & Beverage Department

About the role

The Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club, a Discovery Land Company venue outside Austin, Texas, is looking for a dependable Dishwasher to join its Food & Beverage Culinary Department. You will operate cleaning equipment, maintain sanitation standards, and ensure all kitchen and dining items are clean, dry, and properly stored for service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment.
• Wash, sort, stack, and store dishes, china, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen vessels.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Set up china, glassware, and silverware for all outlets daily.
• Monitor inventory levels and perform regular inventory checks.
• Maintain safety by properly storing chemicals and keeping concentration logs.
• Clean and detail kitchen floors, walls, and equipment according to standard procedures.
• Report maintenance or hazard issues to the Executive Chef.
• Participate in department briefings and complete opening/closing procedures.

Required profile

• At least three months of experience in a high‑end restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and stay calm during busy periods.
