Discord Community Manager

About the role

A Tiger Cub is seeking a proactive Discord Community Manager to help launch and nurture its online community. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming space where members can connect, share, and transition from virtual interactions to real‑world friendships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow the A Tiger Cub Discord community from its earliest stages.
• Create a welcoming environment that encourages introductions and active participation.
• Design conversation prompts, discussion topics, and recurring community traditions.
• Organize online activities that foster real‑world friendships and event attendance.
• Welcome new members and guide them toward events, initiatives, and involvement opportunities.
• Gather member feedback and continuously improve the community experience.
• Collaborate with the team on community initiatives, partnerships, and events.
• Help shape the culture, values, and identity of the community as it expands.
• Recruit and support volunteer moderators as the community grows.

Required profile

• Strong belief that stronger communities can change lives.
• Passion for bringing people together and creating inclusive spaces.
• Excellent written communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑starter who enjoys building something from scratch.
• Organized, creative, and proactive.
• Experience managing communities, organizing events, or leading online groups is a plus.
