Director, US Emerging Portfolio Strategy – Neurology

About the role

Servier, a Boston‑based commercial‑stage biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Director for US Emerging Portfolio Strategy in Neurology. Reporting to the Executive Director of US EPS, the role will guide the assessment and planning of emerging neurology products and lifecycle management programs across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct US emerging portfolio assessments for neurology and lead new product planning projects from preclinical through Phase 3.
• Support business development by evaluating external pipeline and in‑line opportunities across all phases.
• Develop forward‑looking market strategies, positioning, and product profiles by synthesising primary and secondary data.
• Collaborate with global teams to provide US market insights, unmet needs, competitive landscape, and market entry plans.
• Incorporate scientific and commercial developments into medium‑ to long‑term US strategic plans.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in business, science or a quantitative field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree (MBA, PhD) with 7+ years in strategy consulting, biopharma strategy, BD or new product planning.
• Deep understanding of neurology and rare disease markets, with the ability to quickly grasp disease‑state specifics.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, influence without formal authority, and communicate complex analyses to senior leadership.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and presentation skills, and high emotional intelligence for consensus building.
