Director, Treasury & Credit Risk

About the role

SKIMS is looking for a Director to lead its global treasury and credit risk functions. The role will shape the financial infrastructure that supports rapid international expansion, partnering with senior leadership to ensure liquidity, risk management and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee global cash management, liquidity optimization and investment activities across all entities.
• Design and implement treasury infrastructure for new markets, including entity banking, intercompany funding and repatriation strategies.
• Manage daily retail cash operations, armored car services, cash reconciliations and POS cash handling.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating terms and mitigating risk.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of treasury systems, payment platforms and reporting tools.
• Monitor debt, covenants and financing strategies, ensuring timely compliance reporting.
• Manage foreign exchange risk through hedging, currency trades and interest‑rate exposure.
• Oversee intercompany funding, settlement processes and transfer‑pricing alignment.
• Lead cash forecasting aligned with seasonal retail cycles and business objectives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of treasury or cash management experience, preferably in a high‑growth consumer or retail environment.
• Proven track record of building scalable treasury operations and leading cross‑functional teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Experience managing international banking relationships and FX risk.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and cash‑forecasting tools.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange hedging, debt compliance and intercompany funding structures.
