Director, Systems Reliability Engineering

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. seeks a senior leader to define and execute the global reliability strategy for Distribution & Logistics technology platforms. Reporting to the Sr. Director, IT – Global Distribution & Logistics, you will drive AI‑enabled operational excellence across worldwide warehousing, transportation and labor management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the global reliability strategy, support model and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Lead managers, engineers, vendors and partners to improve service performance, incident response and system stability.
• Oversee service performance, risk management, major incident response and executive communications.
• Advance AI‑enabled support, automation, observability and knowledge management practices.

Required profile

• 10+ years in technology operations, systems reliability engineering or supply chain technology.
• Proven leadership of global teams, vendors and strategic partners.
• Strong understanding of distribution, warehousing, transportation and logistics operations.
• Experience navigating organizational change and guiding senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• AI, automation, observability, incident/problem/change management.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, LMS, WFM, integration and reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with Manhattan, Centiro, UKG, MuleSoft, Talend, SAP, ServiceNow, Power BI, Tableau, Azure, SQL Server, Oracle.

• Base salary range $148,600 – $217,900 per year, plus incentive plans.
