Director, Portfolio Insights and Analysis

About the role

The Director, Portfolio Insights and Analysis leads the Global Commercial Strategy Organization’s insights function, providing competitive intelligence and market research to guide portfolio decisions for Innovative Medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a global insights centre of excellence supporting long‑range financial planning, business plans and enterprise reviews.
• Deliver competitive intelligence and market insights to senior leadership and regional teams.
• Advance technology roadmaps, integrating platforms such as Signal, Margo and emerging AI capabilities.
• Develop a Global Insights Roadmap and playbook to uncover customer insights for pipeline innovation.
• Co‑lead the GCSO Insights and Analytics Forum and support long‑term forecasting and scenario analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in analytics, market research or competitive intelligence, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and work with cross‑functional global teams.
• Broad understanding of pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development and regulatory dynamics.
