About the role

The University of Miami's Osher Center for Integrative Health seeks a visionary leader to serve as its Director. This senior position will guide the Center’s mission to advance whole‑person health through innovative clinical care, education, and research within an academic medical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic vision aligned with institutional goals.
• Champion integrative health across the medical center and with national/international partners.
• Oversee evidence‑informed integrative services, integrating modalities such as acupuncture, mindfulness, nutrition, and yoga.
• Lead educational programs for students, residents, fellows, faculty, and the community.
• Advance a research agenda that includes clinical trials, outcomes studies, and implementation science.
• Manage the Center’s budget, staffing, and operations while pursuing external funding.
• Build community partnerships to promote health equity and access to integrative care.

Required profile

• MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in academic medicine, healthcare, or integrative health.
• Strong commitment to evidence‑based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.
