Director of Workforce Development

About the role

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is seeking a Director of Workforce Development to lead its non‑credit training initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Workforce Education and Training, the Director will shape the college’s partnership‑driven workforce programs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and industry partners to design, implement, and schedule non‑credit workforce training programs.
• Oversee all activities related to the college’s workforce development program, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
• Manage program logistics, including curriculum development, instructor coordination, and resource allocation.
• Monitor program outcomes and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Maintain compliance with university policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in workforce development, adult education, or related training environments.
• Proven ability to build and sustain partnerships with industry stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and program‑management skills.
• Ability to work under the supervision of senior university leadership.
