Director of Social Media & Content

About the role

Pixi, Inc. is seeking a Director of Social Media & Content to shape the brand’s digital presence and drive engagement across multiple platforms. This senior leader will work closely with marketing, creative, and product development teams to create and execute impactful social media strategies that reflect the company’s inclusive beauty ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive social media strategy, including live content, aligned with brand values.
• Lead the creation of visual and written content such as photos, videos, graphics, live streams, and copy for social channels and the website.
• Manage and mentor a team of social media and content creators, providing guidance and feedback.
• Optimize presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter), staying current with platform updates.
• Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and encouraging user‑generated content.
• Ensure all content maintains Pixi’s style, quality, and tone of voice.
• Track performance using analytics tools, produce regular reports, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a content calendar for consistent brand presence.
• Spot emerging beauty and social media trends to inform innovative campaigns.
• Manage the social media and content budget efficiently.
• Guarantee compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
