Director of Sales – National Retail

About the role

The Director of Sales will lead Walmart and Sam’s Club business for Nature’s Bakery, driving profitable growth by owning customer strategy, senior buyer relationships, and commercial execution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver annual and long‑term targets for net sales, earnings, share and distribution.
• Develop and execute customer growth strategies aligned with brand and enterprise priorities.
• Own the Walmart relationship and lead Joint Business Planning.
• Drive performance across distribution, pricing, assortment, shelving and merchandising.
• Use insights and data to optimize plans and accelerate growth.
• Lead broker partners where applicable to ensure aligned execution.
• Coordinate cross‑functional partners to deliver integrated customer plans.
• Represent customer needs in internal planning, forecasting and performance discussions.

Required profile

• 6+ years progressive experience in sales, revenue growth or customer strategy, preferably within CPG.
• Proven success managing large national retail accounts, including Walmart.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute customer growth strategies.
• Strong financial, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate independently in complex customer environments.

• Competitive base salary range of $153,000 – $192,000 per year.
