Director of Recovery

About the role

The Director of Recovery serves as the spiritual and organizational leader for Pinelake Church’s Recovery Ministry. Reporting to the Lead Pastor of Care & Recovery, this role drives the vision, values, and strategy of the Care & Recovery Team across all campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a unified support‑group vision and strategy that serves individuals in recovery.
• Partner with campus pastors to identify and equip staff representatives for each campus.
• Recruit, train, and supervise lay group leaders and volunteer volunteers.
• Lead weekly support groups and facilitate onsite workshops and intensives.
• Oversee the Recovery budget and ensure alignment with church policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Christian psychology or counseling preferred.
• Demonstrated church‑based ministry experience and support‑group leadership.
• Strong spiritual maturity, commitment to personal discipleship, and ability to model emotional health.
• Ability to communicate clearly, embody the church’s 7 H’s values, and work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.
