Director of Planning – Wholesale

About the role

SKIMS is seeking a Director of Planning to shape the way the brand works with wholesale partners. Based in Los Angeles, this leader will own financial planning and inventory strategy, turning data and market insight into revenue growth and stronger partner performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial objectives by accurately forecasting sales, margin and inventory across wholesale accounts.
• Build annual and long‑range plans in partnership with the VP of Planning to support growth and brand initiatives.
• Manage the open‑to‑buy process, providing top‑down guidance for inventory and investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain rolling 12‑18‑month top‑down and bottom‑up plans for unit and dollar sales volume.
• Oversee inventory ladder management and SKU‑level projections.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, commercially minded planner who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Strong foundation in merchandise planning and open‑to‑buy.
• Deep understanding of wholesale distribution dynamics.
• Ability to create scalable processes and forge strong retail partnerships.
