Director of Physician Recruiting (Remote)

About the role

The Medicus Firm (TMF), a leading national healthcare recruitment firm, is seeking a Director of Physician Recruiting to lead remote recruiting efforts for hospitals and healthcare employers across the United States. This senior role combines strategic sales, candidate relationship management, and client consulting to drive successful physician placements.

Key responsibilities

• Advise physician candidates and client organizations throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Source, screen, and engage physicians via phone and email, building rapport and presenting opportunity details.
• Quote salary ranges, highlight opportunity features, and prepare candidates for interviews.
• Lead physician marketing campaigns and manage the end‑to‑end recruiting process.
• Address and resolve client concerns, providing consultative recommendations to ensure successful searches.
• Maintain consistent communication, feedback, and reporting to both candidates and clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or physician staffing.
• Proven sales background, including inside sales, outside sales, B2B sales, or cold‑calling experience.
• Strong consultative sales abilities and a positive, results‑driven attitude.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
