Director of Operations – Supply Chain Leadership

About the role

We are a fast‑growing, category‑leading natural foods company seeking a Director of Operations to own end‑to‑end supply chain functions. This senior leader will join the executive team and build scalable processes that support rapid growth across retail, eCommerce, distributor and marketplace channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, manufacturing and logistics.
• Drive and continuously improve S&OP, inventory planning, forecasting and supply alignment.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and define procurement strategy.
• Oversee internal production and external co‑manufacturing partners.
• Optimize ERP utilization, MRP planning and overall operational processes.
• Direct warehousing, fulfillment, transportation and customer delivery performance.
• Develop, mentor and expand the operations team.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Quality and Marketing.

Required profile

• 10+ years of operations or supply chain leadership in CPG, food or related industries.
• Hands‑on experience across manufacturing, procurement, planning and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory management and S&OP.
• Proven track record managing co‑packers, third‑party logistics providers and international suppliers.
• Understanding of retail and distributor supply chains, including large national accounts.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and leadership abilities.
• Background in high‑growth, entrepreneurial environments.
