Director of Manufacturing Excellence & Engineering

About the role

Duroshox USA is seeking a seasoned leader to drive manufacturing excellence across its U.S. operations. The role combines strategic oversight of production, engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver high‑performance motion control and vibration isolation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles and Toyota Production System (TPS) across all production lines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events and low‑cost automation projects.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives and growth targets.
• Manage cross‑functional teams spanning production, quality, supply chain, and engineering.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably with Toyota or a Toyota supplier.
• Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing and manufacturing excellence programs.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities, with experience managing large, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
