Director of Investor Relations

About the role

The renewable energy investment platform is looking for a Director of Investor Relations to lead engagement with institutional investors, support fundraising activities, and oversee reporting across multiple private funds. This high‑visibility position acts as the primary liaison between senior leadership, investment teams, and the limited‑partner community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the investor relations function for a portfolio of renewable‑energy funds.
• Coordinate quarterly reporting, including performance updates, valuations, capital calls, and investor presentations.
• Develop deep knowledge of fund strategies and portfolio performance to address investor inquiries.
• Partner with senior leadership on fundraising initiatives, roadshows, and investor meetings.
• Maintain and update fundraising materials such as presentations, DDQs, and marketing collateral.
• Prepare briefing materials for investor calls, conferences, and annual LP events.
• Manage investor records in the firm’s CRM and oversee due‑diligence requests.
• Handle ESG‑related reporting requirements and monitor market expectations.
• Update third‑party fundraising databases, including Preqin and PitchBook.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in investor relations, capital formation, fundraising, private equity, infrastructure or alternative investments.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong understanding of private‑market fund structures and institutional reporting.
• Proven experience supporting fundraising processes and investor due‑diligence.
• Exceptional project‑management, organizational and communication abilities.
