Director of Growth - Navy

About the role

This senior position blends strategy, capture, relationship‑building and problem‑solving to drive Code Metal’s growth within the U.S. Navy. You will partner directly with company executives to shape, execute and lead the go‑to‑market strategy, guiding engagements from initial introduction through contract execution. The role requires deep understanding of Navy challenges and how Code Metal’s AI‑driven software verification can address them.

Key responsibilities

• Define, lead, and execute the GTM strategy for the Navy.
• Maintain and expand relationships across the service.
• Shape opportunities into contracts and manage the capture process.
• Support congressional engagements to convey Code Metal’s capabilities.
• Monitor policy, budget and acquisition shifts to uncover new opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align products with government needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (MBA a plus).
• U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (TS preferred).
• Proven experience in business development, capture or GTM leadership within defense or government technology.
• Deep knowledge of DOD acquisition, procurement processes and team structures.
• Track record of expanding business or driving multi‑million‑dollar defense contracts.
