Director of Finance and Accounting

About the role

WIPWip™ is seeking a hands‑on, high‑ownership Director of Finance and Accounting to build the company’s accounting foundation and support financial planning and business performance. This senior leader will own the full accounting function, financial reporting, and internal controls while partnering closely with the SVP, Finance & Operations on forecasting and strategic finance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the accounting function end‑to‑end, including monthly close, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Ensure financials are accurate, timely, and decision‑ready.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes (invoicing, collections, vendor payments, reconciliations).
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.
• Maintain visibility into cash and support near‑term liquidity management.
• Own cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing in a CPG environment.
• Oversee external accounting partners and lead the transition of work in‑house.
