Director of Events & Hospitality

About the role

The Director of Events & Hospitality will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all ancillary events and hospitality experiences surrounding the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Reporting to the Senior Director of Hospitality, this permanent, full‑time role is based on‑site in Las Vegas and works closely with commercial, operations, and event teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for décor and furniture vendors, overseeing design, installation, and strike for all secondary hospitality areas.
• Manage suite customizations from concept to implementation, including theme selection, budgeting, billing, and detailed tracking.
• Update floorplans, coordinate client‑led build‑outs, and ensure successful handover inspections.
• Collaborate with the Specialist, Events & Hospitality on install, strike, and race‑week operations.
• Prepare progress reports on suite builds, identify delays, and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain Secondary Hospitality Client Guidelines documents.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute VIP hospitality events, brand activations, sponsorship events, property openings, and premium sales & service events.
• Work with commercial teams to create a year‑round ancillary events calendar and manage the special events budget.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with strong relationship‑building skills across multiple departments and clients.
• Proven experience in events and hospitality management, preferably in large‑scale, high‑profile settings.
• Ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and complex project timelines.
• Must be based in Las Vegas and able to work on‑site.
