About the role
The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) seeks a strategic leader to direct business operations for its pharmacy services, including the 340B drug program and retail contract pharmacy arrangements. Reporting to the Executive Director of Pharmacy, the Director will ensure regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily administration, analysis, and operation of the 340B Drug Program.
- Manage inventory replenishment, reconciliation, and data trending for program profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements of the 340B program.
- Coordinate with drug wholesalers to resolve billing and payment issues and reconcile high‑cost drug spend.
- Lead the 340B team to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.
- Serve as primary contact for external pharmacy services, including indigent drug recovery, GPO agreements, and reverse distributorships.
Required profile
- Pharm.D. degree.
- Licensed Florida Registered Pharmacist.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmacy operations or related fields.
