Director of Business Development, Commerce & Payments Partnerships

About the role

Roku is looking for a Director of Business Development, Commerce & Payments Partnerships to lead the sourcing, negotiation and closing of commercial partnerships that enable seamless purchase experiences for households across Latin America and beyond. The role will serve as the outward‑facing commercial lead, building and managing relationships with regional acquirers, fintech wallets, alternative payment methods, gift‑card providers and banking partners, starting in Mexico and expanding to Brazil and other LATAM markets.

Key responsibilities

• Source, structure and close commercial partnerships, joint promotions and renewals with payment partners across Mexico.
• Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, consumer incentives, co‑marketing campaigns and volume‑based rebates.
• Develop partner‑funded promotional programs that lower barriers to a consumer’s first purchase on Roku.
• Extend the Mexico partnership playbook to Brazil and additional LATAM markets.
• Manage regional acquirer relationships for multi‑country commercial arrangements.
• Codify deal structures, partnership models and go‑to‑market playbooks for replication in new markets.

Required profile

• Commercially minded professional with a track record of leading business‑development or partnership initiatives in payments or commerce.
• Experience operating in complex, multi‑market environments, preferably within Latin America.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to collaborate across advertising, payments platform, engineering, operations, product, legal and finance teams.
