Director, Global Talent Acquisition Enablement & Effectiveness

About the role

Alcon is seeking a senior leader to shape the global talent acquisition strategy, driving effectiveness, scalability and data‑driven recruiting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve the global TA enablement strategy, operating model, governance and service standards.
• Lead the technology roadmap for Workday Recruiting, CRM, sourcing platforms, assessment tools, interview scheduling, onboarding and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Oversee employer brand and recruitment marketing, sourcing channel strategy and performance analytics.
• Partner with HR Operations, People Analytics, Legal, Finance and RPO partners to translate talent priorities into practical, cost‑effective solutions.
• Own day‑one onboarding experience (BestSTART) and drive operational and financial excellence across budgets, vendor performance and compliance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant talent acquisition experience, including 6+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and execute global TA enablement strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Strong business and financial acumen with experience in ROI analysis, budgeting and vendor optimization.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to influence senior leaders.
