Director, Global Digital Content & Commerce Strategy

About the role

Laneige is seeking a Director to shape and execute its global digital content and commerce strategy. Based in Los Angeles with a hybrid work model, you will lead the creation of digital‑first campaigns that drive performance across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Google, Amazon, and retailer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop global, digital‑first campaign and content strategies for product launches, ensuring they are built for platform consumption from the outset.
• Design modular, market‑ready frameworks that regional teams can localize without losing strategic integrity.
• Serve as the primary digital content strategy resource for regions lacking TikTok Shop, Amazon, or e‑commerce expertise.
• Own discoverability strategy across search (Google, Amazon) and social algorithms (TikTok, Instagram), embedding SEO and keyword tactics early in the planning phase.
• Create e‑commerce content strategies for brand.com, retailer.com, and marketplace environments, including PDP and A+ content direction.
• Produce activation toolkits, playbooks, and guidance for global rollout and regional execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading global digital content or commerce strategy for consumer brands.
• Strong track record of building scalable, performance‑driven campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams in multiple regions, including HQ in Seoul.
• Leadership experience managing a team of digital strategists.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of TikTok (organic and Shop) and its algorithm.
• Expertise in Instagram, YouTube, Google search/ads, and Amazon Marketplace.
• SEO and keyword strategy development.
• Experience with e‑commerce platforms and retailer.com environments.
