Director, Global Commercial Strategy, Precision Medicine

About the role

The Director, Global Commercial Strategy, Precision Medicine will shape and execute Johnson & Johnson’s worldwide commercial precision‑medicine strategy. Working closely with R&D, global brands, regions and diagnostic partners, you will drive market readiness and accelerate adoption of precision‑medicine‑enabled therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Enable asset strategy by providing market intelligence, evidence and regional insights to influence portfolio, asset and launch decisions.
• Shape markets by creating conditions that allow precision‑medicine assets to reach their full potential.
• Orchestrate execution across R&D, global brands, regions, diagnostic partners and other stakeholders to optimize launch success.
• Oversee diagnostic partnerships, including education, data strategy and governance.
• Provide commercial and regional diagnostics input to guide R&D decisions and evaluate diagnostic platforms.
• Develop and manage budgets, consultants and agencies for key initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics or related field preferred.
• 8‑10 years of progressive commercial experience in diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with precision medicine in oncology is preferred.
• Strong executive presence, communication skills and ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
• Analytical ability to interpret scientific and financial data and set priorities.
