Director FP&A

About the role

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis leads the development of analytic and reporting processes that ensure accurate consolidation, analysis, and reporting of regional and global results for the business services unit. The role prepares daily, monthly and quarterly reports, forecasts and analyses required by senior leadership and may coordinate the financial aspects of the annual budgeting and planning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of quarterly and annual homebuilding budget forecasts, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
• Review and analyze monthly financial statements, sales, production and costing metrics to assess profitability and identify improvement areas.
• Focus on investment and daily operations to maximize ROI, margin and overhead expense performance.
• Collaborate with divisions, acquisition, sales, construction and purchasing teams to review financial results and explain variances from the annual plan.
• Provide analytical insights to executive leadership to support operational improvements, cost savings and revenue enhancement.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodology and financial planning processes.
• Partner with operations and accounting teams to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems.
• Analyze complex data sets, conduct research and create timely financial reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis within a corporate environment.
• Strong ability to interpret financial statements and operational metrics.
• Demonstrated capability to work cross‑functionally with multiple business units.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to senior leaders.
